Original Milk Tea Protein Ice Cream Recipe

Get ready to enjoy the rich and authentic taste of boba milk tea as ice cream! Whether you're a fitness enthusiast looking for a post-workout treat or simply a bubble tea lover wanting to try something new, this recipe is for you. Let's dive in and indulge in the extraordinary combination of bubble tea and protein, all in a delightful frozen treat. Brace yourself for a flavor sensation, courtesy of Boba Nutrition.

Ingredients:

  • Full-Fat Coconut Milk: Why full-fat? It gives the ice cream that ultra creamy and smooth texture instead of icy. The higher fat content also helps the ice cream be scoopable, something many homemade ice creams lack! The coconut milk must be from a can and must be chilled prior. If you are looking for a lower-fat option, opt for low-fat milk and get more of a sorbet consistency.
  • Boba Nutrition Original Milk Tea Protein Powder
  • Sugar-free Sweetener, honey or dates

Instructions:

  1. Place a loaf pan or bowl of the ice cream into the freezer for at least one hour before to ensure your ice cream mixture will freeze properly and have a creamy texture.
  2. Grab your coconut milk out of the fridge. When coconut milk is chilled, it becomes thick and creamer, which is the best consistency when making ice cream. Add your coconut milk to the blender and blend on its own first.
  3. Once the coconut milk is blended, add your Boba Nutrition protein powder and sweetener to the blender. Blend again so that all the ingredients are combined.
  4. Transfer the ice cream mixture into the pre-chilled container and place it in the freezer. For the first hour of chilling, take the mixture out every 20 minutes and stir. Stirring helps prevent ice crystals and keeps it smooth.
  5. Then wait 2-3 more hours so that the ice cream will be completely frozen.
  6. When ready, remove the pan and let it sit for a few minutes to thaw slightly. Scoop the protein ice cream into bowls, get ready to enjoy your homemade frozen treat, and savor every delicious bite.
